Michigan by Rail has been on the scene in Michigan transportation policy for a few years now. Before being taken on as a team at the Transportation for Michigan (Trans4M) coalition in the summer of 2013, it was a collaboration between the Michigan Environmental Council and the Michigan Association of Railroad Passengers (MARP).
